about

this is a song im working on i set up my little studio and this is the first thing i did i need to get the timing rite but i like where its going im playing a real harmonica and i belive in using real instruments when making real music

lyrics

every night i go to sleep i hear the sirens in the streets

will someone wake me up when all this violence has ceased

no more gun shots that are filling the air

wondering if a stray is gonna put me in a chair

every time leave my house i gotta knife in my pocket

so i can protect my self and keep the money in my wallet

i had a gun pulled on me for wearing the wrong clothes

i wasnt to worried it was just how it goes

in the two five three you gotta stay on your toes

cus in the tac town man anything goes

theres people stealing and killing can you feel what im feeling

when you walk the streets alone you feel like someone is creeping

so you stay clicked up to avoid a beating

wondering if this life has any fucking meaning

my eyes are so heavy from the shit im seeing

i dont even feel like im a human being

chorus

How do i take the pain

even when it rains it dosnt wash away

these blood stained streets are were we live today

and if we dont all change theyyl be hear to stay

im sayin

How do i take the pain

even when it rains it dosnt wash away

these blood stained streets are were we live today

and if we dont all change theyyl be hear to stay

i used to live my life tryin to be like other people
but then i realized that everyone is equal
i got bullied at boze elementary
so i broke that kids nose so the others would respect me
i no longer got bullied but became a predator
i picked other kids to make myself feel better
i wanted other kids to feel like me
put my face in the pillow shout and scream
i was a young boy full of alot of anger
when i looked in the mirror all i saw was a stranger
i hated myself for not having all the privileges
and i was always jealous of the other kids
that had a mother that had a father
my world felt like it was under water
it took along time to reach the surface
but once i popped out i knew the ride was worth it

chorus

How do i take the pain

even when it rains it dosnt wash away

these blood stained streets are were we live today

and if we dont all change theyyl be hear to stay

im sayin

How do i take the pain

even when it rains it dosnt wash away

these blood stained streets are were we live today

and if we dont all change theyyl be hear to stay

im sorry to all the people that ive harmed in my life

i thought the world owed me a gigantic sacrifice

i didnt realize repercussions for my actions

the bad shit i did gave me no satisfaction

i know i wont make it better by just writing this song

i need to rite the wrong no matter how long it takes

i used to put the pedal to the metal until i realized i controlled the brakes

paying karma its dues no matter what it takes
